A pretty chill Motion Designer and Video Producer with a focus on UX animation using Rive, Lottie, and After Effects
rive animations
Intercom wanted smooth vector animations of their UI for the launch of a new product, but even Lottie wasn’t able to get the files small enough. The Intercom team and I worked together to create lightweight demo animations using the emerging platform Rive to deliver 20-30 second animations from Figma source material. The resulting files weigh less than 1MB on the page and dramatically improve page load times.
product demo videos
For client Plural, I created a series of demo videos suitable for both an upcoming trade show and their website. By working closely with their UX lead, we were able to generate product-accurate visuals that stripped away visual clutter and created an easily glanceable experience for viewers.
optimized banners
Intercom needed to create animated HTLM5 banner ads with very strict size limitations. I researched and discovered a solution and then animated and delivered the banners within their specs.
case study: amelia.ai vignettes
Every analyst already knew Amelia had the best Artificial Intelligence product in its class, but the organization itself struggled to distill the essence of their product to the non-experts and business decision makers.
I spearheaded an effort to bring the key differentiators and standout capabilities of Amelia down to relatable terms using simple and intentionally low fidelity representations of the user interface and AI concepts.
motion design highlights
I’ve had the pleasure of working with some really wonderful clients on a number of motion projects.
In the included samples, I was responsible for meeting with the clients to discuss their needs, scripting and storyboarding, designing 2D vector assets, motion design, and editing the finished product.
midjourney study: creating cozy cafes
I’m a huge proponent of the importance of “Third Places” in society, and I think neighborhood cafes are one of the few remaining accessible spaces in this regard. One of my favorite ongoing Midjourney experiments has been generating cozy, welcoming cafe interiors that feel inviting to the viewer. Here are some of my favorites.
